- On his headstone which is upright and about 5 feet tall is the following inscriptions:
on all four sides near the top is a Z inside a wreath of leaves with a circle inside. His dates of birth and death and "IN REMEMBER ANCE HERE RESTS A WOODMAN OF THE WORLD" a log with an ax set in it and a broken circle around the ax and log with "DUM TACET GLAMAT" on the bottom.
